CC : Durham v Nottinghamshire

Lees, McKinney, Rhodes, Gay, Borthwick, Ackermann, Beddingham.

That's some top 5 next season mind........
Add in Robinson, De Leede, and Clark. How do you fit them in ?
My cynical head thinks........ apart from Jones, who else is leaving ?

Do you (or anyone else) think there was a real autumnal chill in the air yesterday? It’s still August FFS!! We’ve had a fairly shite summer in terms of warmth anyway, but still, it’s usually the second game in September before that chill comes around.
Summer's usually gone by Bank Holiday. I often go up to northern Scotland in late August and it's like September here.

I like to move around and sat in 3 different places. It was all about the wind yesterday.

First spot in the sun but in the breeze required long trousers and pullover. After lunch had a spell sheltered by the scoreboard / Bannantynes and it was down to shorts and tee shirt. Red hot with plenty of people sunbathing whilst able to view a few hardy souls in the upper deck opposite in full winter gear!

Final session back to long trousers and gilet 🤷‍♂️

Yeah I said on Facebook it felt like autumn yesterday. Looks more of the same today

Bit windy
We need it - there's a lot of rain fallen overnight.

Definitely felt it this last week. We often say we don't get a summer/spring/winter but we always get an Autumn. Having said thats its supposed to be decent next week so could be shorts and T shirts at Burnopfield but then again.....
Any concerns around play today? I might pop down.
Drying up with the sun and breeze now after overnight rain.
