Always thought that short was a decent owner at heart but some of the advice he got was scandalous. We ended up with a load of players who were there because of favours by mates for one last pay day. Lescott springs to mind for one.

The thing is on the other hand, without agents you'd get some players massively underselling themselves.

The key is finding an agent who genuinely has the players best interest at heart

I tend to agree with you regarding PL quality. I think he will struggle against top flight defenders. However if we do get promoted this season, and he stays here. I think he would perform well playing with SAFC, and players and a system he is comfortable with.
