Jack Clarke

I've always said 25m would be the selling price but, looking at how the market is and how much other players are going for there's no reason why we shouldn't be demanding 30m for him.

I'd be absolutely gutted if he goes, we need to break the wage cap dramatically to keep him, 35k per week.

Please just stay Jack.

Please.

Don’t do this to us.

And get rid of Ian Harte as well.

Thanks,

All Sunderland supporters
Wasn’t Clarke in the “relegation “ team at the end of last season? The way everyone is going on without him there’s no promotion, meaning with him it’s a massive possibility, that’s a massive improvement on May and roughly the same side.

Wonder if Clarke goes we might go 2 up top

...................Patterson................
.......Hume......O'9........Alese.....
Roberts.............................Cirkin
.............Neil.............Rigg...........
......................Jobe....................
.......Mayenda.........Isidor..........

Subs: Moore Hyelde Anderson
Ekwah Browne Poveda Aouchiche
Mundle Rusyn

We'd have to bring in another forward, maybe go back in for Mendy
Roberts as a wing back is an awful idea

Has it been said any previously what sell on % spurs are due? I know the club won’t have but anything from a reliable journo?

If it’s 25% then it should be a minimum of £20m up front to ensure we get £15m.

I don’t mind him going at the right price that’s football, but it’d be frustrating to lose our best player to a shit club that were in a mess not too long back and have leapfrogged us partly down to KLD & ks’s decision to write off half of last season and plod on til May in their words.

Listened to a podcast from Clarke one thing he says he loved about been here is all he’s family live in York and in he’s terms it was down the road so Easy to go and see them on a weekly basis now which was massive for him after been at Tottenham where he couldn’t do that Ipswich he couldn’t do that

Clarke is 23 now one of the best players in the league plays with quite a lot of freedom idolised by the fans no pressure on him what so ever already filthy rich after the spurs move where he’s rumoured wages were 80k a week I generally believe we will get one more season out of him then he will want the premier league test again
He also loves being the main man here ...there is nobody that has his skill in and around the box here.

At Ipswich it's different ... tripling your wages must be fabulous... but you're starting again at a newly promoted club... and your going to be cannon fodder. So not only do you have to rrprive yourself at the club and to its fans... you also have to feed if scraps to do it. In a team of high priced mercenaries

For a lads that was not given a chance at spurs...and who Jose destroyed his confidence...that might not be the dream move he might want

Safc have to do its part now... make him want to stay more

Not enough for me.

Aye but he was half fit, coming back from a nasty injury, playing in a team with nothing to play for, a team who were dreadfully short of confidence, and playing for a team managed by The Doddster. I'd read nothing into his end of season form.

Those are quotes/opinions from someone who isn’t me. From a BBC Radio broadcast.

You do know how quotation marks work, don’t you? Like - what they mean?
You still said le bris sounds like the french micheal Beale.
You do know how opinions work? You heard stuff about him and formed yours saying is it just you or does he sound like the french micheal Beale.
So @Birtley Lad was correct and you either lied or forgot you said it and then deflected.
Shame.

Are the club allowed to say to him, look we don’t think your agent has his best interest for you. He is clearly doing this for money in his pocket not yours.

Or would that be “against the rules”
Of course they can but a) why would he care what the club think . b) why would the club basically make a delicate situation worse?

Aye but after the window, what happens if the club say these stories came out in the press. We never got a bid off them. It’s clear the stories appear after other interest dies off. We don’t think he has the best interest in your future.
But Clarke will know if this interest is real or not already. The chances are it is as well by the way
