This late in the window must also mean we add a few quid on as well?

Unless we offer him 50k a week which we won’tWe need to ask for at least £25m due to the 25% sell on clause to Spurs.
I actually think Jack Clarke will sign a new deal but if he does go then so be it.
Sad smoggy bastard on a different teams forum at half 8 in the morningI'd be flabbergasted if Clarke rejects the chance of going to play PL football, even if it is with a relegation threatened team.
If Ipswich do come down, then they will likely be in a decent position to mount another challenge for promotion, whereas if Clarke stays, he's unlikely to play PL in the next two years.
He'll also get a bumper pay increase.
Clarke has remained very professional throughout all these rumours (not just this summer), however, he'll be chomping at the bit to get into the PL where he will no doubt think he belongs.

Here he is lad, simply can’t stay away.I'd be flabbergasted if Clarke rejects the chance of going to play PL football, even if it is with a relegation threatened team.

Can't for the life of me work out why the club haven't set a deadline for this. If we were going to sell Clarke for say, £25m, then it's done early. You make it known. We don't sell him for less than that days before the window closes. If we do, it takes an astronomical figure to prize him away and we have to ensure that's what happens if he does go.
Maybe they have mate you're right. But you'd like to think some sort of statement would be made to let other clubs know it's too late and we won't entertain a bid.Maybe they have? We honestly know nothing.
And yet, can you argue with what he's saying?Sad smoggy bastard on a different teams forum at half 8 in the morning
Surely if he’d agreed it he would have signed it by now. Then they could announce it and end all the speculation, which isn’t good for anyone (except Harte maybe)He said he had agreed a 2 year extension, not signed an extension.
Youre still under surveillancePhew thought you were on about me then![]()
