Jack Clarke

I honestly think that where Clarke goes after us is fairly important. We want to show young players that we are a pathway to a higher level. If Clarke leaves and plays every week in the PL, fair enough. A side step/pigeon step forward to Leeds is not that.

As ive said a friend leeds fan is adamant they are getting clarke, however i think harte is using leeds to try and start prem clubs off in a bidding war

Unless the Leeds fan works in recruitment for the club then it means nothing.

He doesn’t want to leave but the wages other teams are able to offer compared to us are massive
It's been reported he's on 19k per week here. Surely we could push to the 35k mark for a player of his quality, that should compete with other championship clubs. Fair enough he goes to the PL for 50k+.

If a player can command a £20-25million fee then they should be on that sort of money too. You can't just lose your best players because another player might want a pay rise.

It's a simple answer, when a club bids 20m for you I'll give you a pay rise
Not sure what’s funny. If someone is doing the same job as you and you break the wage structure massively for them people will start expecting better pay rises. I’m not saying on the same wage as Clarke but they’ll expect the structure to be broken again. It’s fact
