It's tough to say what'd be right, and would depend on the money. I'd rather lose Neil for say £15m for instance, than Ekwah for £8m. Hypothetical figures of course.

If someone offered silly money for Jobe you'd be just as silly not to take it. But I think the reality is that club's will have seen what the rest of us have seen last season, and realise silly money is not a safe bet on him at this stage.
Disagree there. I think Neil is more indispensable than Ekwah. I’d say Neil is the best CM at the club (Rigg could surpass him in the future) whilst Ekwah is - at the moment - a squad player.

So even though Neil would fetch us more funds, I’d say it’s a lot harder for us to replace him than Ekwah. As a championship club, we’d have to be realistic who we could bring in as well.

I think if you put a steady away midfielder next to Ekwah we wouldn't notice Neil had gone.

Of course, we'd have to go and get one.

Would be surprised if this was true. Not sure he'd be committing to 2028 on a relatively low wage unless there's a low release clause.

Curious to see he hasn't gone yet.
People called me mad earlier in the year when I said it was more likely than not that he'd be sold but there was a good chance he'd be staying until Jan at least.
And that was really hedging my bets and still leaning towards sold. So many were certain he was gone.

I wonder if anything is happening behind the scenes. Trying to push bids to deadline day to maximise income?
His performance vs. Cardiff will certainly have boosted the odds. Old Clarke is coming back.

Classic SMB this. Someone posts some pure conjecture that Clarke is staying and we get all excited about it, then someone else pops up on Twatter with a different rumour saying that the aforementioned rumour is untrue and so "he knows fuck all"..?
He knows fuck all. He's tried to down rumours before and looked a right knob. Trying to gain ITK by gambling on the other 50%...

So explain why I'm wrong and it's 'classic'

skunk hater (my mate) has posted quite a few ITK threads on here, including Poveda recently.

He has proven credibiliy.

I kna you're laughing @Keith S30S, but I don't think the gap between Ekwah and Neil is as big as some make out. Certainly not in terms of skillset. It's more discipline, experience and perhaps mindset that sets them apart, if anything at all.

Whoa, easy tiger I wasn't having a pop or trying to damage your posting reputation, I just thought it was an amusing example of how the SMB works :) I'd be delighted if you were proven to be correct mate.
