I didn't realise we were playing Zimbabwe in a one off test next May. That interview was the first I was aware of it.

Including this one we've got 37 tests currently scheduled between now and the end of 2027 Ashes.

Joe Root needs 3982 runs to overtake Sachin as the leading run scorer in test cricket. He's only needs 1439 to get second and 533 to overtake Cook.

Root would need to average 107 runs a test if he plays all 37 of them to overtake Sachin. Anyone got faith he can get to first?

He won’t catch Sachin but he’ll definitely finish second on the list by the time he finishes.

If fans have this attitude.Then we're gonna be left playing nobody but India and Australia in a few years.

Us and their boards are actively trying to destroy cricket.

What are the Windies supposed to dom they've got no money.

There athletes are being drawn to USA sports or athletics. Then if they do play cricket chase the T20 money.

Needs to be some motivation for other countries to keep playing Test cricket and the big 3/ICC need to sort it the fuck out.

We're playing Pakistan at home in 2026 and probably some agreement we struck with Pakistan to come over in 2020 and 2021 that we'd do two tours over there.
