Definitely a bit of a flaw in Stokes captaincy for a while this.

Just hoping for wickets rather than really trying to take them.
I mean you are taking out two of the main dismissal methods by this approach. Fair enough use a few an over, but don't understand overs after overs of predictable shortish stuff
And then you don't have a bloody short leg in either!

Then we actually bowl a wicket taking delivery and we've got no-one anywhere near the batsman
 
Honestly I really don't get breaking your fast bowler with a pointless tactic that requires unbelievable effort
 
Joseph can't help but get lulled into trying to slog like.

Good delivery Atkinson. Seems he could be a great lad to keep giving experience to develop as a test bowler. Seems more consistent than robinson

Surprised stokes hasn't bowled himself instead of Bashir. Can see the argument for any option like
