As a player, we've never had such a successful footballer here, maybe apart from Hurley etc from days gone by. He would be a MASSIVE coup for us, nevermind ya flame haired Gen Z bugga.- His stature and profile in the game, he'll have players respect immediately.
- Lifts the profile of the club.
- Players will want to play for him, either those here or potential new players.
- He won't be phased at all by size of club and expectations.
- Not a chance he's accepting the job without assurances from owner.
- Got Derby into the play off final.
- Winning mentality and will be a huge influence on likes of Neil and Rigg.
- A club like ours, needs someone with a bit about them. Far too many get eaten alive by it and he's been there, done it and then some, where he'll embrace all that.
Only reasons I'm seeing people say no, is because he struggled at Everton, like many have and because of who he votes for.
Boo. You know for second I actually forgot he went to EvertonWorst Everton manager in last 20 years to quote their fans. Worst win ratio for a Chelsea manager since mid 90s
Just he's faviurite with the bookies, he's 3/1 onHas there been any credible link to Lampard?

Ancelloti and Benitez were shite at Everton. I bet you'd have them hereWorst Everton manager in last 20 years to quote their fans. Worst win ratio for a Chelsea manager since mid 90s
Whoever we get, realistically will have positives and negatives. There is some negatives, wouldn't try say otherwise, but after the mess so far, I think someone of his profile and stature is a good thing. I wanted Rohl originally, but never happen. I get similar vibe from Cifuentes and would be very happy and would prefer him. If it isn't, then I can get behind this, even though not my preference.I'm not at all convinced by him to be honest nor arsed about his politics. Let's be honest he isn't coming here.
Everton is definitely a difficult one to judge a manager on.Ancelloti and Benitez were shite at Everton. I bet you'd have them here
Fuck me, there’s about ten errors in that article so either Oscar has forgotten to put spellcheck on, or the work experience kid is writing copy for the website now.Mate of mine just sent me these. Apparently they had it published on the website but took it town within seconds. I heard the was going to be an announcement today too.

I mean they may have been told to stay schtumYes, that's how journalism works.
I’m half tempted to see if that really is a MondayMonday 25th June 2056
Got Derby to a playoff final
Got Chelsea to 4th place in the Premier League and to the FA Cup final
His managerial CV is far better than most of the candidates we’ve been linked with so far.
I’ve no idea if there’s anything in the links but in for the life of me see why people are reacting negatively to the prospect.

It's also taking him hours to correct, must be struggling with the spellchecker.Fuck me, there’s about ten errors in that article so either Oscar has forgotten to put spellcheck on, or the work experience kid is writing copy for the website now.

Any realistic target will split opinion. I'd rather Cifuentes, but can also see why this could be decent.
The fact it say "he was our number 1 target" .... suggest its a p!ss takeMate of mine just sent me these. Apparently they had it published on the website but took it town within seconds. I heard the was going to be an announcement today too.
