Frank Lampard - manager rumours

I don't get the sterotype about Lampard in all honesty.

Did a great job at Derby, kept Everton up which even Dyche struggled on a full season, took over a Chelsea team who visibly couldn't give a toss and were under a transfer embargo.

It's not the worst CV to have.
I'm not sure Derby fans would agree that he did a great job there, Everton is definitely a difficult one to judge.

The Dacks have performed a U turn upon hearing there's more footballing royalty heading our way.

Bleakley & Atwood are opening a boutique on Blandford Street, initially called the Blandford Boutique, which was felt to be too impersonal so changed to Bleak Wood Boutique (too Dickensian) & finally to the Goldilocks solution: 'Wags'. Frankie Styles has been commissioned to paint the signage. The interior will be designed by MLF Grayson Perry.

Worst Everton manager in last 20 years to quote their fans. Worst win ratio for a Chelsea manager since mid 90s

If they can stretch it out until the 30th, I'm actually getting close with my prediction of when the manager would be unveiled on that other thread.

Which I can't find now, did that get deleted?

What are the positives?
- His stature and profile in the game, he'll have players respect immediately.
- Lifts the profile of the club.
- Players will want to play for him, either those here or potential new players.
- He won't be phased at all by size of club and expectations.
- Not a chance he's accepting the job without assurances from owner.
- Got Derby into the play off final.
- Winning mentality and will be a huge influence on likes of Neil and Rigg.
- A club like ours, needs someone with a bit about them. Far too many get eaten alive by it and he's been there, done it and then some, where he'll embrace all that.

Only reasons I'm seeing people say no, is because he struggled at Everton, like many have and because of who he votes for.

Any realistic target will split opinion. I'd rather Cifuentes, but can also see why this could be decent.

I'm not at all convinced by him to be honest nor arsed about his politics. Let's be honest he isn't coming here.
