We can point out many things the current board have done wrong, but accusing them of not getting the best deals isn’t one of them. It detriments us when signing players, but I’ve got every confidence in stuff going the other way.

They’ve paid £10m for a lad where the highest level he’s ever played at is the Championship, for 17 matches. Coming back from a bad injury.

He's a nice lad & I hope he makes it, but if he was going to be part of their Premier League plan, it’s either a huge throw of the dice or relegation behaviour waiting to happen.

There's no chance they would have bought Stewart for £10m if they didn't think he could make the step up to the EPL. It would be incredibly poor business for them if they just immediately loaned him out upon getting there.
