CC : Lancashire v Durham

Well we put up a decent fight this morning. But that afternoon session was shocking. Gifted too many wickets.

Don't think many wickets fell in first session across the 4 days

Correct feel sorry for Bedingham and Robinson
It was a huge total to get but we were comfortable and managing matters until Stokes brain fart

Stokes chucking his wicket away was the nail in the coffin. ECB quick to criticise county cricket then their England set up encourages play like this.

Excellent performances from Bedingham and Robinson but woeful from Nos.6-11 in both innings.

Well that's my 16 game unbeaten run as Red ball cricket OP at an end so as promised I'll hand over the reigns to the new person.:D

Save journey home to those who are travelling back from sunny Blackpool.

There's an England v Pakistan T20 thread to start ;)

Just watched a reply of Bedinghams dismissal the keeper clearly goes up for the stumping the umpire shot him out not convinced at all.

Stokes dismissal you would not expect of a school kid to be honest field set deep just trying to get to the new ball beyond stupid!

Personally thats was one helluva an effort from Durham and would have been one of the great victories if they had have pulled it off.
I thought they would be all out for about 250 an hour after lunch.
One or two things to look at before Friday but its proving a big step up this year and teams are not letting Durham steam roller them like last year but also Durham are playing some decent cricket.

I nominate Brandon.

I'll leave it you.

Anyone who knows me will know that I wouldn't be fussed watching England even if they were playing in my front garden.

I'll second that. I only took over for the Derbyshire home game last season as I thought he was on a 'sabbatical'.:D

Tin hat on but I would tell England we are not playing Stokes in the next game. To me, clearly a terrific player but dropping into a side after two years, taking all the attention is a NO from me

It has disrupted the batting order in more ways than one at the very least
