Just a soulless void needs a cafe and maybe a display of old photographs of Sunderland transport.

Just a vending machine and an empty void when I went.

The old one was better
 
Network rail need to lower the rent to get vendors I'm, it's ridiculous we are now over 5 months from opening and 18 months since the start of building and nothing had been agreed.

Heard from a few people that the units offered were going to be double what the businesses were currently paying.

Yeah have happy memories of it, wimpy/burger king linked to it the bakers on the side and whsmiths all linked to the train station. Compare that to the empty space and a vending machine we have now. It seems a wasted thing there wasn't much wrong with what was there years ago with all the above linked to the train station
 
Unfortunately seems to have attracted the absolute dregs of society outside the front entrance. Or certainly that was the case earlier this morning when I was passing through.

Same on Friday winos and bag heads using it to keep warm.

May as well nobody else will use it nothing there may as well sit in the Bridges before the train comes.

A bit of tidying up and the old station was ok
Even the structure of the new building is uninspiring
How much did it cost
