I asked earlier if you've ever been inside a stadium when VAR has ruled out a goal. You ignored me.

Nope. The lines are always seperate which means every offside decision ever has either been on/off which is impossible.

No you don't. You think its ridiculous to chalk it off just because a toe is just off (unless you also can't see on the pic where they've drawn the lines).

My opinion wouldn't change here as the debate is if he's offside or not. He is. Its proven. The debate is not whether games should be decided on slightest of margins. That's a different debate.

You can never precisely tell when the ball is struck/leaves the players boot, so it isn't proven at all, roll on one frame onwards or backwards and it's a different outcome, you trust those operating the system that they don't make mistakes? That's been proven many times that they do, scrap it 💯
 
The only thing that is screwing the game up is money. Money gives power to the wealthiest clubs and they use it to remain dominant and to have an advantage in a "game". VAR is part of it.

Money is the root of it. The game is corrupt and has been for some time. There is no level playing field anymore.
 
This new system next season should be far better. Will take seconds and will get an actual display of why it’s offside.

How many times has goal line technology showed the ball has a tiny amount still on the line and therefore it’s not a goal? And yet there are very little complaints about that.

He offside and it doesn’t matter if it’s an inch or a yard. It’s not subjective so no clear and obvious. It’s like saying it should’t be hand ball if a player scores with his little finger as it only touched a small amount of his hand
