didnt stop him being shite here..

but generally you are right..almost no owners have ever run a club
 

The issue isn't that Dreyfus hasn't run a club before.

It's that he has never run any form of business before, and that he never had any senior role in anything whatsoever in his life before. He even dropped out of his degree course. He has no relevant qualifications or skills whatsoever.

exactly this..no one usually goes from no experience to running a business of safcs size..
even when people take over a family business..they work within it in more junior roles for a few years before getting the top job..
 
Couldn’t be arsed to read through all that, however the couple of posts I did read, suggest that he’s skint and therefore wouldn’t be able to spend owt. We presently have a BILLIONAIRE at the helm who isn’t prepared to spend much either. At least it’ll be mildly entertaining listening to him, rather than that daft boring cockeyed kerrrnt Dreyfus!!

Yes I know. That's why I specifically said in the post you replied to that is not an issue.

It is, however, an issue, that he has never run anything before. Never run a business, never been a senior executive or manager, dropped out of Uni. I thought that was pretty clearly the point I was making.
