This Is Wearside - Poppy Day Display

Look like the club have decided to set up with a complete bunch of melts rather than engage with the more organic and laddish/ultras style of SO37

Naturally there’ll be some wet wipes willing to jump in with the club for some attention

Expect club control over all displays and all banners to be soft as fuck. Cringe.

Flags for the women’s team for a start

And then look at the state of them - proper childish

Sorry like but this is a move in the wrong direction for our fan culture, sanitised rubbish as opposed to the more edgy and authentic direction
Those bottom 2 flags man ffs 🤦‍♂️

Either way they’re horrible mate.

Hopefully yous can build off SO37 as they look mint at the game, isn’t the same without them.

I've got nothing to do with the new group mate. I'm interested to see how they get on though knowing how much of a thankless task it can be

Ah I thought you were judging by the other replies haha

Wonder if these will be allowed to select their displays?

Seen as SO37 were told what they could display.

No anti mag stuff under any circumstances iirc
I hate the mags, but the displays should really be positive and about SAFC, not about the murdering ,gravy stained scruffy sister sh aggers up the road. That would be childish.🙃

I remember the old red and white giant flag on pitch after Chelsea cup quarter in 92
That was my mate from work's flag. He bought the material for £130 IIRC and got his aunty sew it together to be like the massive flags they had in Italy. I didn't go to home games with him, only aways so I wasn't involved that night.

We took it through St James park 11 days later. It was in a massive hold all and the coppers asked about it at the turnstiles. They said we could take it in but not get it out. Late in the 2nd half I said fuck this let's unfurl it. We managed to collect it afterwards and made our way out at the end. We got pulled by the same coppers 😂

They weren't too bad really and we made our way back to Sunderland.

But but the mags invented big flags...
