In the stands there are plenty of leaks from the roof above, the concourse is the worst profile case but it's not isolated. The leaks and lack of maintenance on the steel structure are more concerning as once they get beyond a certain point they'll need replacing.

The leaks in the concourse are from the ceiling not the roof. Believe it or not there’s a big difference. All of the concourse has seats above it. It’ll be air con leaks not roof leaks.

The steel structure has been getting the coating renewed gradually if anyone bothered to look around. Not a 5 min job unfortunately. The lack of maintenance comment is literally a guess people love to spout. Since Ellis Short left they’ve been working on maintenance non stop trying to rectify his neglect. Even Donald was proactive with starting that

I've looked around plenty over there last few game weeks and seen no evidence of steel structures being worked upon.

I'm aware the concourse leak is internal and not roof, that's obvious. It's also been over a month since they stuck a couple.of wheelie bins below it to. "Fix the issue" it's not good enough.

You aren’t looking very hard then. They are up to the north east corner internally if you look up you’ll see where they stop and they’ve done loads externally (that you can’t even see from inside).

However It’s easier to say they aren’t doing it and create negativity.

It's easy to say when it's true. If the club had done anything it'd have been in the propaganda released earlier today. I posted on a thread earlier, they've got the stadium for some month 2-3 weeks without a match. There's no excuse for not carrying out basic maintenance. The concourse leak is a symbol of what's wrong currently.

Lots of issues need work so hopefully they're done as matter of course, not before time.

Playing side is the biggy for me though. Speakman out ( but doubt it). Best players sold and shite in then ground improvements mean naff all.

The roof is 27 years old, probably close to the end of its realistic life.

Was it fixed with stainless steel fixings? If not and carbon steel was used (hopefully not) then it will be a problem very soon.

The internal steels are horribly exposed in the east stand, last time I checked corrosion from the sea air didn't wait while we reported the exposed steel
