Not comparable he's got an English mum. Just requalified for England.
Not that he was really on either countries radar while he requalified.

Jennings actually had to leave Durham half way through his first summer with the academy when South Africa selected him to captain their touring u19s team and then reappeared the following year.

Nah but sheer run getting he did very well in last 12 months.
Couple of tons against Bangladesh and a few half centuries against India and Pakistan(and that's since the beginning of November)
