Yann M'vila - target or not?

What do you think he’s been doing for the 8 months like? Food eating challenges and watching box sets non-stop?

He’ll have been training because he doesn’t want to stop playing. He’ll lack match sharpness, but he’ll be in a better position than someone coming back from an injury, for example.
This and people are wondering if Evans will be fit as we need some experience. Mvilla is will be playing first team football before Evans by a mile

Aye ya probably right. However I don’t think he’s quick enough or strong enough to play upfront in the championship but that hasn’t stopped them trying that.
If he played off a big CF he might get on the end of some things and hassle defenders a bit more.

He’s an attacking midfielder ideally but he needs someone solid behind him imo.
I'm not entirely convinced that he's an attacking midfielder either tbh. He has chipped in with a few goals but tends to slow the ball down when he gets it and isn't that creative either. Plenty of time to find his long term position though.

When did he last play regularly starting in first team ?
I don't follow his career tbh.
If he can't hit the ground running I can't see any value signing him

😂😂😂

Every other post from you slates people for having any sort of negative view mind.

Completely fine that you might have a negative view of something the club might decide to do is it?

He could have been here in December to see if he could hit the ground running, it’s daft we have waited 3 weeks to find out.

The owners and speakman have seen some poor results in January and have panicked a bit now. He should have been in sooner.

Better late than never though

It depends on the terms and the cost. If the outlay to KLD is minimal then where's the risk? Nobody expects him to charge around the midfield like an 18 year old, we've got the kids to do that. It's the experience he can offer in midfield that we're lacking, besides he's 33 not 53 and I would imagine he's kept himself physically fit when not playing. I really hope this happens.

Tbf in the summer he said he was open to any offers and yet is still a free agent so surely can see why people are being a bit glass half full here

If he was even half as good as what he was 7yrs ago you’d think he’d have been snapped up by now even by a shite Ligue 1 side with a low budget

Its not really the no brainer that I and others stated tbf, the squad is far too large and the decision to bring Dack in and the inability to get rid of Pritchard will have an effect on the finances and squad set up.

Most dont really care about issues down the road, only that we get someone in now, doing the same at the minute with Moore and the other 5 strikers.

By the same token you could suggest that any player we sign isn't very good due to someone else not signing them first.

Last season he was playing with better players than we currently have and in Europe, not only that but standing out within that team. Has he turned terrible in the mean time, I'm not sure but his position, experience and mindset would be ideal for us.

He played over 30 games a season over the past 3 years. He hasn’t played in the Greek Super Xleague since the end of last season; 8 months ago.
Olympiakos finished 3rd behind AEK Athens & Panathanikos.
On a salary we can afford, it’s a no brainer for me. Class act!

Easy Quiz question.... Mvilla was supposed to be 1 of a double signing the same day for us but the other fell through. Who was the other player?
