To an extent but as I'm unsure why it's difficult to reason. I believe he was looking for the Saudi money in the summer, perhaps he wanted one last payday and has now realised that isn't happening.

All we do know is that his last standard (the same length of time ago that Aji had been out for, or a far shorter time than each of Huggins's annual injuries) was that of entirely different levels to the chaps he is being compared to and that he holds attributes that we so badly require.
 
It's pretty obvious we've started looking at him because he's on a free and has said he'd play for a relatively low wage. Add that a lot of fans would like to see him back and we're desperate for an experienced player in that position and it starts to make sense.

We all know the club won't outlay any serious money to bring in a DCM in his prime, so if anyones got any better options for a DCM thats on a free transfer and will play for a low wage, I'd like to hear them.
 
it would benefit the likes of ekwah and neil I think as well, they are learning on the job but having a player of hi stature and experience would help them?

It’s a fair point but I’d be confident he’s still better than ekwah and Bellingham when fit.

The championship is if we are being honest pretty shocking in the most part. Get him upto speed and it’s a good signing for me

Taking this piss out of us. Do your jobs properly. Find a striker from somewhere who can score 10 before the end of the season and we'll be in the playoffs.

Whilst I agree that it’s to appease the fans at least it would still be a good singing and a million miles away from signing Defoe
 
Not sure about this one if there's really anything at all in it. Has a hint of the Grant Leadbitters about it.

How good's the standard in Greece? I know he played in Europe, but they practically lost the lot. Came bottom in a group with an Azerbaijani side in it. Stuffed off Maccabi Haifa in the Champions League qualifiers anarl.

Ekwah......Neil...

Ekwah and Neil aren't DCM's. There attributes lie further foward and forcing them to play a role that neither is completely comfortable with is really stupid from the coaching staff and the club who should of had a DCM in last summer as a priority.

M'vila may not be everyone's cup of tea, but this club is doing everything on the tightest of budgets, and unless anyone can come up with a better DCM with the experience he has, then its probably the best we can do. What he will do is allow Ekwah and Neil to be more open and join/create attacking opportunities. It also means the likes of Ekwah can be rotated with Jobe and Adil as we're not forced into flogging players for the sake of a formation.

Hasn't played for approaching 9 mths like, so his previous club obviously didn't think he was worth keeping on or any club picking him up in the summer window?
