*~*~* Ipswich v Sunderland match thread *~*~*

Probably an unpopular opinion but Seelt and Ballard would be a much better CB pairing than Ballard and O9

Get O9 back in the middle. Someone who won't bottle a tackle. Get Ekwah dropped
We should consider this.

Having two young and relatively inexperienced lads in our CM (albeit Neil is looking good and Ekwah has potential) - with absolutely no alternative options - has cost us on too many occasions this season.

We've regressed since last season when we sneaked into 6th. Squad is worse and we'll struggle to finish 6th as things currently stand.
Top half will be a struggle with the pack behind closing quickly.
I see Leicester, obviously, winning the league despite today's result.
One of the other two relegated clubs taking second spot with the other 3rd.
Ipswich have enough points to hang on for 4th to 6th with two from WBA, Coventry and M'Bro filling the remaining places.
Obviously a couple of sensible transfers could alter the situation but as it stands ourselves and Hull are more likely to fall away.

Today’s definitely was. Preston away, Ipswich at home, Ipswich away - he’s absolutely awful and should be nowhere near the team.
Preston away, no, not even in play for either goals so try again.

Ipswich at home, not a mistake by him, 2nd goal the striker got a run on him.

Todays, not even remotely his fault, he was about to intercept the ball until it took 2 deflections.

So I will give you one, at a stretch, please tell me the other 6?????

Hull may cling in there if Carvalho is a sign of things to come from them this transfer window.

Well what you know. Beales post match interview was as bad as his game management & tactical decisions.
Does he ever stop for breath?

If we can't find a striker after 12 f***ing months of looking ...wtf is the point of the clubs model?

Is it not fatally flawed

Or are we just a bunch of cheap bastards handicapping our our ability to get promoted to perpetuate a model that only works below the PL

Only 12 months we haven’t bought one since Wyke left
