*~*~* Ipswich v Sunderland match thread *~*~*

I've been saying this for ages about KLD...nee fucker listens
I want/wanted to believe he was in it to do the right thing for the club, supporters and the local community (and making a bit of cash for his troubles), sadly over the last few months it looks like it's just the latter. Hopefully he'll prove me wrong

I never expected to win this game. We had zero chance of winning against such a great team who play above the level they are at. The real expectation to get a win is Hull City on Friday. The win that heals the pain of the derby defeat. Bit it still hurts like hell to lose.

Absolutely frightening if he has a say in match day squads, he should be kept well out of it!
You can see why Neil snd TM we’re unhappy if true.

Any decent HC wouldn’t stand for it
Just got home from the match.

Decent first half with lots of possession. Deserved the lead but a sloppy mistake led to the equaliser.

Second half seemed to run out of ideas when Pritc tired. Can't keep relying on JC to save the day.

Inevitable goal to lose.
Fair play hell of a journey.

It's funny having been there. Adil scores we are 2 1 up and it looks a decent performance. We then commit hari kari with the free kick and defending.

I am concerned that no one can hold the ball up front. We therefore concede possession. Just on a couple of occasions we moved the ball a bit quicker and look so much more of a threat but then we revert to the slow ponderous approach.

Disappointed it almost took the crowd to get Beale to make the change. However the two he took off did not necessarily warrant the change. Jobe should have been off earlier

I am disappointed and frustrated in equal measures.

Super support as normal. God it can be shit being a Sunderland supporter.

All credit to attending Sunderland fans for joining in the applause for the Ipswich Town supporters who passed away during 2022.
True football fans and decent human beings.

just gone past wetherby on the way back.
i thought we deserved something from that.
auchiche (sp?) should've scored but wasn’t to be. ba and jobe played their best games for a while.
probably already been discussed on here but it looked like pritchard had words with beale when he was subbed.
lastly it was a great atmosphere in our end.
