Whisky

Got round to trying the Hereach…don’t know if it’s after following sherried drams all weekend but quite a bit peatier than expected.

Young but decent enough. Don’t think I’d be in a clamour to buy a bottle mind.

Bourbon night last night
Four Roses single barrel
Jack Daniels triple mash
Michters 10
Bookers Lumberyard Batch 62% had to put a drop water in that one like . Very peanuty which i being told is a something Jim Beam are known for so I've being told.

All nice stuff the Jack Daniels was well worth the £30 i paid for it when on offer.

It’s an underrated distillery, especially if you enjoy an orchard fruit flavour profile. The NSS is perhaps a bit too rounded off though, for me.
Speaking of Orchard profile, I enjoyed a previous Orchard House bottling from Compass Box.

I've just ordered their Spice Tree blend, currently reduced to £36 on Amazon.

Glendronach 12 for £36 on Amazon
I’ve fallen for the temptation of the WB 18 yo Tullibardine after the praise on here after the NE Whisky Festival. It is now my most expensive whisky purchase.
Arran 10 available for £31 from Loch Fyne.
Have you tried the Tullibardine yet?
