Too many refs who think they're the main character these days and he was one of them. Thats the biggest load of shite I've ever read. When we in the premier league we use to claim the opposite that the refs were homers. It's crackers to think refs give decisions so they can make themselves the center of attention

Well, he was in his face and shouting whilst waving his arms. He may have already been warned. Apparently, in the Sky coverage, it was said that he had warned both teams prior to the game that he wouldn't tolerate dissent. Dan was an idiot, after a borderline red, which he got a yellow for, he is in the refs face.

My point is not necessarily this match it’s any match where a player is on a yellow card to do what he did in that situation.

Footballers should be more disciplined and not excused which people seem to br doing.

That’s not what it said, on sky it said he would ref empathetically which Tony repeated in his interview. Unless I am wrong dissent wasn’t specifically mentioned. Ref is inconsistent, if Neil is booked why isn’t Hume booked in the same offence?

Or and by the way, not a ref but played football all my life Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings and then over 40s and appreciate the job of ref is near enough impossible in todays football world which is why I in the main defend them.

But it shouldn’t make any difference if someone is on a yellow or not? It either is or it isn’t a yellow card offence and as it isn’t abuse directed at the official I really can’t fathom how it is
