ODI World Cup

I notice the Super Over rule has changed now.

If the scores are level at the end of the Super Over the result will not be decided on count back of boundaries.

They will just have another Super Over and another etc until one team scores more runs than the other.

I mean it was a stupid rule. Should have been another super over.

But it was known when we played hence not the tainted victory like the rest of the world calls it

One of me favourite bits of trivia, England is the only only country to have won the holy trinity of the footy, rugby and cricket world cups, and they won them all in extra time.

So at least one or two semi final places will surely be decided on a rainout lottery eh?

Fun.
It's a huge country. The warm-ups have been in a rainy part of India. Matches in the world cup less so.

2019 had a bunch of no results and DLS impacted games like.

Normally have a bet in cricket world cups and look for value outsider alongside my main bet.

But simply don’t see any this time.

I know I am stating the obvious but think India and England will be simply too good for the rest

Yes - 2019 was a debacle in this respect. Was hoping they'd have tweaked things given that scenario. But glad to hear about the non rainy vs rainy areas.

Was that not previously the rule? I thought Williamson said something on that sky documentary recently about it

Could be way wrong mind

I've read they've got reserve days for the Semis and Final apparently.

Dunno if that was in place last time.

Think South Africa have a decent chance although losing Nortje is a blow.
