Are Forest a big club

Completely agree with that.

I’m just pointing out they were being talked about as a giant of the game that’s all.

Yeah. I think a lot of it depends on perception of the club too. Forest are quite an inoffensive club with a rich history under Clough and a reputation for playing good football under him just before the PL was born. Any club that comes up to the PL doing something different like Brentford and Brighton (previously Swansea) are media darlings too. In short, they'll look for anything to big them up.

Theres lot of clubs that are decent sized and they go through good and bad periods.

Norwich, Ipswich, Birmingham, Wolves, Sheffield x 2, Middlesbrough, Derby, Palace, Forest, Leicester, Blackburn, Southampton, West Brom, Stoke etc etc etc.

And although we might see ourselves as bigger and we are definately the top end of that pile above, our league position over the last 60 years is probably equally as yo-yo.

The current premier league is loaded with clubs that arent very 'big' but are well ran at the minute. But theyll be back down again in the not too distant future.
