Are Forest a big club

Just been listening to talk sport tonight and they are being termed as football “giants”.

I know about the 2 European cups obviously but did abit of digging on wiki, won less than I thought historically.

Thoughts ?

Take Clough period out and Forest are also rans. Using the Clough period of fame is like us using the period when we were World Champions and calling us a Giant World football club.

They should probably be bigger.

Generally, club status should track city size, especially if you are a one club city. That’s why the Mags and Leeds especially are big clubs.

Some cities are just crazy football city’s and that’s how they punch above their weight. That’s our criteria.

Nottingham is a big city, definitely - should be not far from Leeds or Mags, really. On the other hand, Bristol is big city too.

So, biggish, but not big.
