Come on. Lovely heritage, the oldest club in the country, but clue is in name: it’s Notts County and Nottingham Forest.Have you ever heard of Notts County?
Decent yearsNot really.
A few decent years amongst years of mediocrity unless I'm mistaken.
Notts County fan at work (Nottingham) told me they’re getting 10k at home. There are loads of notts county fans living in Nottingham city boundaries.Come on. Lovely heritage, the oldest club in the country, but clue is in name: it’s Notts County and Nottingham Forest.
Besides - how many did they get last week?
This is true like, it probably mattered back when clubs relied on ticket money to pay wages, more fans means better players. But since that is not the case the phrase "big club" means nothing. The f***ing 'is this a big club' discussion is cancer, man. It's trying to define a phrase with no agreed meaning and it's always just dogs chasing tails.
Agree with this. They just had a great manager once. Otherwise they are Middlesbrough.
Completely agree with that.If they are in the PL and can spend money they are a big club. Shut half of their ground and they are still a big club.
50k crowds in the Championship are worth a lot less than 25-30k in the PL.
Size of crowds and history (to some degree) mean nothing compared to the here and now in the PL.

Don’t post on it then marraBang on. Utter horseshite of a discussion.
Compared to County, yes they are massive.Just been listening to talk sport tonight and they are being termed as football “giants”.
I know about the 2 European cups obviously but did abit of digging on wiki, won less than I thought historically.
Thoughts ?
Thought you meant Derby County there before realising.Compared to County, yes they are massive.
Compared to Liverpool, no they are minnows.
Aye and there are mags living amongst us as well. There's definitely a bit of needle to this though - Forest fans hate being called Notts Forest.Notts County fan at work (Nottingham) told me they’re getting 10k at home. There are loads of notts county fans living in Nottingham city boundaries.
In Nottingham.Definitely a big club
