If we sell for less, we will be lucky to break even after the payment to Ross County, wages, medical bills.

It also hampers our own promotion prospects if he notches goals for them.

We should be saying you're a promotion rival you're going to have to dig deep and meet our valuation. Don't waste our time with pathetic bids.

We wouldn’t imo, we won’t get more than £8m for someone with 6 months left on his deal when he won’t have any intention to sign.

He’d probably bugger off to Rangers for nowt in January if he doesn’t leave this window.

Given that he’s not likely to sign a new deal, he could quite easily become majorly unsettled if he’s not allowed to leave.

If someone is offering £8m now, do people honestly believe we’d be getting near that in January?

Personally I’d say £7m rising to £8.5m - £9m on promotion would be a very fair price. They’re fairly close to that.

8m upfront no add ons would be fair imo now we are at this point in the window and have spent all window trying to get one striker in let alone a second in the space of two days.
