Question I have for anyone of that attitude is, say he hypothetically joins your club or gets in England set up and starts banging goals inI think it's a mealy-mouthed way of saying "He wasn't found guilty so why punish him any further?"
Your kid, too young to know what’s gone on or what any of it means then wants his name on the back of their shirt, do you allow your kid to walk around with his name after what he’s done? Or have to explain to a young mind that they can’t have their favourite player?
I think from employers perspective it’d actually be more moral to bring someone into a club who has been convicted of crimes and served their time, whilst it’s not something I’d want my club to do and I’m sure is the case for the vast majority of people but at least in that case they’ve been through the system and it’s down to the employer if they are willing to offer the chance of rehabilitating through their career, this all just seems a case of escaping punishments through technicalities and hoping to get back, score some goals and pretend it never happened
