Durham Vs Northants - 13th Aug 2023 - One Day Cup

Competition has been ruined by the hundred like. Bracey just hit 200+ of 140 or something in a game today, been a few easy innings this year
 

It amazes me how many Durham bowlers get gigs in the 16.4

we hardly have a decent record at t20

carse, Raine, Potts, sowter, Parnell, Ashton turner
 
Well that was like watching 2 completely seperate games played on different grounds. To put it mildly we struggled with the bat and then Northants just cruised along and coasted to victory. After watching us bat I thought there must be something in the wicket for the bowlers and it could be a close game. Obviously not.
 
I could tell after the first three overs of the match we weren't going to win this. We needed a big score because Shaw has been on fire this season and was always likely to punish us.

On a separate note I see Superchargers still not bothering to play Potts, Robbo & BDL today. These lads could go a whole month without any cricket yet if the Franchise Yorkies don't want them I don't see why they can't turn out for us.

and Trev is a more rounded cricketer. Always produces eun and more often than not takes wickets. I don't think he's known as a big spinner of the ball but he does take his share of wickets especially in white ball cricket.
