No way the away fans will police themselves, the Coventry prick who threw the bottle last seaaon was hailed a legend by many fans on one forum i read.

If it means they dont get to go to the next game or the next or the next it will soon stop!if you have no away following you cannot make trouble......its not about banning only the thrower from away games but the whole away crowd from all away games .they will soon police themselves.

Throwing smoke bombs onto fans should be seen as the worst form of football violence and the crowd should be banned from future matches until they can act like normal human beings........ the fa and tha government need to wade in on this!they should not be fining the host club though(provided the meet minimal standards for crowd control)for the work of animals from other clubs..the parent club should be fined and the fans banned from all away matches(the period set by the seriousness on the crime)they ban fans fordarinf to go on the pitch to celebrate a win so they should be able to ban groups of fans for smoke bomb throwing.
