5th test the oval

Own worst enemies, keep making daft mistakes and throwing away any advantage we get
Aye thats undeniable.

It's a weird comparison granted but I always felt with Steve Bruce he was an emotional manager, which meant when the vibes were good his team could do some really amazing things way beyond their capacity on paper, but when things got rough there was literally nothing he seemed to be able to do except wait it out until it passed. Big peaks, deep troughs.

I get a similar, albeit so far more successful, feeling with this England team. They're playing on their emotions, there's only thing you can rule out with this team but its pretty major, and that thing is consistency.

A couple of quick ones after lunch and you'll never know .
Nasser was going on about rain between 2 and 4. If that happens, the draw comes into play.

As it stands , we are one wicket away from being well in. That drop may well and be the turning point of the day

gutted. Off out now. Try and enjoy the rest all of your guts can take it

Hate to say it, but Ponting is right. It was a poor replacement.
That's chance though, as they only have select few balls to choose from and try to make the best they can. The aussies have continually tried to get their ball changed over the course of the series and I would bet they've had more changed than us. Law of average says generally the change in ball will be favourable of the other is fucked

The only positive thing to come out of the dropped catch is thatit might just fire England up for this crucial session…too many times they havnt played at the right intensity to win. Its still a pssibility but the odds are very firmly in the aussies favour
