They'll just go out with aim to keep the scoreboard moving, and if they get to 60 with enough time and wickets in hand they'll probably have a bashIf Australia get 2 hours will they chase ?
They have the luxury of just playing it ball by ball, no predetermined approach needed
England have failed to finish them off on pretty much every occasion , despite getting themselves into position to.The result is fair whatever happens England have been the most consistent but Australia have won the key battles.
Multiple times they've got clusters of wickets at the top and middle without rolling the rest.
Or they've batted powerfully but sort of aimlessly, either declaring too early or as in this test, seemingly getting bored or distracted rather than really grinding them into the dirt.
They're lacking an Edge and intensity required to complete the kill. They've done the hard work so many times.
