It’s a really minor detail that @mikemanc may have got it wrong about them being bottom of the Championship prior to the deduction. What is definitely true, is that they were never going to be anywhere near the top 2 (and therefore promotion) with or without the deduction. Which proves my point that this is a completely pathetic and impotent ‘punishment’.
