Ben Foakes

I don’t think so either. It’ll be like for like and Lawrence will probably come in. IMO Stokes should play as a batsman only and take responsibility by going up to three (he has the technique), move Bairstow to six and Foakes come in at seven with the gloves.

Woakes, Wood, Tongue and Broad to bowl. Root will have to get through some overs

out for 23.

He has, its all muscle BTW, was in the gym constantly doing upper body when he couldnt walk, maybe not ideal for a keeper.
His fitness / training regime will have been set by physio's / sports scientists / coaches and he'll have followed it.

Over the last 30 years there has often seemed to be questions on who should keep wicket...Stewart v Russell, Read v Jones, now Bairstow v Foakes.

Rumour is Foakes is bringing out his autobiography but Bairstow will be doing the promotional book signings as it's felt he can do the job better.
