What a shame but it seems the weather Gods have decreed the Ashes stay in Australia. Not the ideal ending but hey ho nothing we can do

Yes a more polished side definitely, Cook, Strauss and Broad established, Trott in form, Flintoff gone by then. Not facing McGrath and Warne by that time either though.Surely it was the team that we took to Australia in 2010/11 that was the golden generation?
Wallopped them 3-1 and a year or two later gubbed them again.
I think that's Greg BlewettWho is the Aussie commentator during the 2005 series?
Staring out the window willing it to let up but still raining at the moment…Any updates ?
Cheers mate. Couldn’t work it out.Yes a more polished side definitely, Cook, Strauss and Broad established, Trott in form, Flintoff gone by then. Not facing McGrath and Warne by that time either though.
We had come to expect England to be good by 2010 but 2005 was just made of pure grit and spirit, and the pattern and competitiveness made for a series that was pure theatre.

England losing the first two tests has decreed that, not the weatherWhat a shame but it seems the weather Gods have decreed the Ashes stay in Australia. Not the ideal ending but hey ho nothing we can do
I’m on evens the draw , though I was told that it’s a flawed bet and I was totally strange for doing itBookies got us 6/1 for the win and 1/9 odds on for the draw. Think it tells its own story
The difference has been that Australia haven't chucked any of their innings away, whereas England have, Lords in particularIt's gutting for England like as they've absolutely battered Australia this test. Completely outplayed them . There's not been a single test this series where Australia have outplayed us, yet they're going to retain the ashes.
Did you back that yesterday? Money for nowt when you looked at the weather radarI’m on evens the draw , though I was told that it’s a flawed bet and I was totally strange for doing it
I agree it’s a very frustrating, however probably not the time for this conversation but it shows what a really good side we have now. It's gutting for England like as they've absolutely battered Australia this test. Completely outplayed them . There's not been a single test this series where Australia have outplayed us, yet they're going to retain the ashes.
No 1 in the world, beat a superb India as wellSurely it was the team that we took to Australia in 2010/11 that was the golden generation?

Might watch that later, don’t think I’ve seen it. Is it sky sports produced? No 1 in the world, beat a superb India as well
Although if you warch the documentary about the side, The Edge, a lot of the players not sure what they sacrificed for it in terms of mental health was worth it
