Every time I check the met office website, the “actuals” look to be drier than the “forecasts”. Looks like the big band of weather could just miss Manchester.
The rain shown on Met Office radar chart is predominantly drizzle to light rain, fingers crossed it keeps improving. If we get play what's betting umpires bring us off with a handful of runs left to win for bad light.Light to no rain at the minute. And, whisper it, there are a few patches of pale blue in between the mass of white/grey clouds.
Accuweather looks more hopeful, and I've been told by people who enjoy doing this sort of thing (yes, they exist) that it's generally more accurate for what's happening on the ground whilst the Met Office is better for long-term forecasting.Game set and match if the met office radar is correct, not sure what source this Is but it’s more hopeful.
