I was going to travel down today with the weather improving but I don’t think we’ll see any play with the current weather and what has occurred overnight.

I used to clear the ice at Durham rink with those squeegee things. Get them on the job. Obviously not with skates on.

Why are the BBC and Met Office forecasts so different? It’s bizarre.

draw evens which is now 8/15

at worst I get my money back if there is not a ball bowled or if England do win I make a small profit

The met radar seems to suggest there’ll be play today and tomorrow - appreciate there’s some clearing of the outfield to sort but the radar looks good in terms of playing today/tomorrow.
Fingers and toes crossed.

BBC dropped the MET office a few years ago, so there's probably some bad blood between them.
(I've totally made this up and have know idea why they are different.)

BBC is normally shite weather wise
As an avid golfer who checks quite regularly I'd say the BBC are more cautious and will air on the side of going with the weather being worse. Met office more accurate imo

They defs have it worse than the met usually.
The forecast for Glastonbury was rain every day on the BBC. Met had a bit on the Wednesday.
The met were absolutely spot on.
