4th test Manchester

If not already decided his head must be pounding thinking what’s best, feel for him.
Bat the day out and hope we got a big 100+ lead

see what the weather is like tomorrow. It’s perfect batting conditions today.

new ball first thing tomorrow might be overcast and we might get some joy.

put the Aussies in tonight with 45 mins like someone said and our lead will be feck all for no wicktes

Aye even if England get 300 ahead by lunch tomorrow they have to get 10 wickets on a pitch doing nowt in two sessions.
Also have to consider the fact it might not rain, and we couldn’t declare and make it a one innings game incase it doesn’t rain. Declaring with a lead around 200 feels right, gives us 2 sessions give or take to win

Another fluke 50 by Crawley, fastest 150 by a England player against the Aussies.

Total fraud ;)
That's why you have to give bazball the benefit of the doubt a lot more, not to say you shouldn't disagree with a decision but look at the difference in this team and let's not forget they were 2-0 down at one stage.

Its amazing in this day on the quality of wickets most test matches are played on Australia have not picked a spinner. Never learned from England at Lords
Don't think that the other lad looked much kop tbf. Think England would have had him for breakfast.

They got 10 Australian wickets in a little over 3 sessions yesterday and today mind
Not got them out in 2 at any point I don't think?

Look of this is a conventional TM you bat til lunch tomorrow and crush them on the field and with scoreboard pressure and win by an innings

But if its 3.5 days Australian wickets are what you need asap

But the Bazball mentality is that you risk everything for a result. You don't leave it up to time. You have a chance to reclaim the Ashes with a win here. If you lose or draw it makes no difference, the Ashes is theirs.

By all accounts the entirety of the British Isles going to be underwater for most if the weekend.
