I think the umpire thought he hit it.
 

Just got back from Manchester..Superb day yesterday..great atmosphere with loads of Aussies there…cracking weather and got pissed as a fart…Soooooo wanted to stop today but unfortunately had to get back…wish I’d stayed
 
What would you do if you were Stokes? Unleash hell until about an hour from close of play & put the Aussies in or bat all day & put them in tomorrow? Especially with the forecast for the weekend!

Get up to parity within an hour orso, then have a big hour tonight, and another big hour tomorrow morning and declare 30 mins before lunch tomorrow with a lead around 200 would be my guess - all provided we don’t get bowled out of course

I honestly think stokes is stuck between a rock and a hard place with this decision, I don’t envy him.


Cummins is having a mare :lol:
 
Had Cummins gone for the review before the no ball was signalled would they have lost a review? If so, the umpire needs to shut his trap until the DRS timer runs out
