Leicester forum - Championship thread

Not sure that’s entirely true

For example was in Solihull last week and a Birmingham fan sought me out after the Jobe transfer to tell me he couldn’t understand the sideways move he had made

I told him not to be silly and that their attendances would fit in the west stand at the SOL

“Noooow, dowwwnnt be silllllae. You dowwwnnt get bigger crowwwwda than bluuus doooo youw?”

“We averaged about 39,000 last season mate, what was yours”

“Nouw you diddeeent”

Looks at phone, types, walks away
I did say knowledgeable 🤣

Aye and feels like they could but also feels like a disaster waiting to happen if it goes wrong.

That’s the only tiny island of consolation I cling on to. It’s tiny but it’s enough to give me hope. Keeping up this laughable pretence that life has barely changed since relegation and maintaining this role of being a Premiership club paying Premiership fees to bring players in and paying them Premiership wages to keep them and doing so in the Championship is well documented.

We all know what happens to clubs who are so desperate to prove they are too big for the Championship they rely on the only thing they know how to do as a result of being in the Premiership for so long - spend vast amounts of money - in this league rather than going with the kind of qualities we embodied last season. It could ruin them and I for one am praying that this decision to buy players for ridiculously expensive fees will come back to bite them on the arse. They ask why no Championship club were in for Winks and Coady. Because A nobody can afford them and B if they did they wouldn’t dare. They know what happens if you pay that much for a player.

So who has achieved more than Leicester in your lifetime mate?

Apologies mate. I hate Everton fans and slag them off loads. I don't like scousers in general tbh. Spurs are just spurs.
I remember forest winning 2 EC and 2 league cups, Villa winning the EC, Everton winning the league twice, Blackburn winning the league and a cup and im 49
