More tricky decision if it is a team odds on for relegation.Ok so Luton comes in and does that. Does he leave?
If they want him they will offer the going rate- whatever that might be.And what if these premier league teams don't offer safc anywhere near enough the right transfer fee? He won't be going anywhere in those circumstances.

We just have to accept finances are in a different scale in the Prem.
It's not up to him on his own is it. And not everyone is motivated by money alone. If one or two Prem teams are prepared to double his wages he will go this window. So would anyone else in his position - even Sunderland fans such as Patto and Neil.
Burnley will be back in this League next season so can't see him going there.

(As an aside I'm not sure Patterson is a Sunderland fan? He's from mag territory)
Good. You would think after spending years at a club you develop a liking for them regardless. He is a lads fan
So am I and support Safc. It's not up to him on his own is it. And not everyone is motivated by money alone.

Haha, I live in the town Patterson is from man so I don't need education on it.So am I and support Safc.
There’s thousands north of the Tyne man - baffles me, people still don’t get this.
^^ This. Have said the same to others, he’s just had 3 year at spurs barely kicking a ball to being probably the main man in an exciting up and coming team. Hopefully he isn’t motivated by moneyClarke may be convinced that we can push on and go up this season with a club he's actually enjoying his football at. Some seem to forget that he's already had a big move, which didn't work out.
The grass isn't always greener and the clubs mentioned will be fighting relegation anyway.

double that and i think the club will acceptApparently their second bid is £10 million![]()

Obviously I hope all of the young ‘uns stay, and I hope that the miracle happens and we are in a position to get Amad back. However, I wouldn’t begrudge any of them a big money move to the PL if it happens. Every one of them deserves it after the effort that they put in last season.^^ This. Outed a mag here ladsHaha, I live in the town Patterson is from man so I don't need education on it.
This is not true. Not by a long way. Don’t translate your own paradigm and motivations onto others. The majority of the world are not motivated by money - they need and want enough money to get by, but they are not motivated to have more and more money. If Jack Clarke was purely motivated by money then he wouldn’t have joined Sunderland permanently last summer.Everyone is motivated by money.. a footballers money earning years are not very many. He has to earn as much as can whenever he can... just imho like
In the 70s the majority of supporters in the Fullwell end were Geordies and Yackers. So am I and support Safc.
