Boro thread


I 've found the most interesting thing over the last few days, has been the difference in the reaction to the defeats.
We, generally have taken it on the chin. Yes we are disappointed, but see ourselves progressing with youth, a solid coach, and a decent recruitment set up. A plan if you like.

Boro fans seem to have taken it really badly, and don't seem particularly optomistic about the future. Like they feel this was their "chance", and they didn't take it.

I think we were over it before Kennilworth Rd was empty.

Good post but you've taken my remark out of context .I was reacting to the other guy and his Billy big bollocks attitude.

Fair enough mate. i certainly wasn't getting into the 'mine's bigger than yours' argument. i was just expressing pride at our fans loyalty, which is recognised throughout football. As I say we have precious little else to shout about.

Personally, I'm not arsed in the slightest who thinks who is 'bigger' than whoever.
As I've already said - all clubs are 'the most important' to their own supporters.
Just cos a club has more fans and plays in a bigger ground it doesn't make them any 'better'.

I honestly don't come on here to 'have a pop', although I can see how it looks like I do.
Just don't get this slagging off of other clubs that are 'smaller' or who have less fans or old, small grounds etc.

Lots on here hope you got through & promoted, you just seem to focus on anything negative. Most won’t even care it’s just for a reaction. Supporters of both clubs aren’t that different. Most of my mates are smoggies, all of them top lads

Fair enough comment, as I said I can see how some of my posts 'look'.
Admittedly I suppose I do get carried away with it at times .
