Jobe Bellingham - Signed

"doesn't look like he'll be Championship-ready for another year (which is fine he's only 17)"
"It’s not a first team regular moving to a league rival. Will he play week in week out next season? Probably not."
There’s 5 pages. Most seem to think it’s not a great deal for his potential

I’m sure the club knows how much money we have. Why is it a concern?

We don't have an infinite amount of money and £3m is likely to be an extremely significant amount of any club's transfer budget.

I'm not saying I share the concerns and as I mentioned we don't know the structure of the deal (and Birmingham will try to make it sound better by saying it's £3m up front etc, I get that) but comments of that nature are fair IMO.

If he comes in and does the business then no one will care but all we can do is go on the information we have at the moment.

That’s good, ta. It’s hard to compare to our lads though as we play in a very different way to Birmingham.
Yes I did think that. One thing that stood out was his touches in the attacking third are higher than our boys. He may well play higher up, and he's more of a Pritchard type, but hopefully that means he has more ability to get into the box to support the striker.

I doubt anyone would be paying £3m for him at this stage of his career if not for who his brother is and how similar he looks to him.

However, for the same reasons, if he's even half decent the hype will be off the scale and he'll be worth a fortune!
