I don’t understand. According to your compatriots on this website you have a bigger fan base so why can you only average 27k? Secondly, there’s nowt like turning up under Carrick when things are going well.

Boro don’t have a bigger fan base, Teesside has a population of around 400k
Sunderland has Wearside, plus most of Durham..
Teesside is made up of towns all next to each other.

Forgetting fan base sizes -who beat who league wise it’s now suddenly a “level playing field “-we are all in a pot in the play offs
We finished 6th -well behind Luton but have just beaten them
I suggest the pressure is off our kids and firmly on those “expecting “ to be promoted after good seasons but just missing out
Would be a huge huge bonus to get to wembley again ..there was an “ arrogance in their smiles “ from Edwards and Clarke in their post match interviews about what we will face at Luton ( as if we would fold under their play )
I do hope the lads see those interviews
