Forthcoming gigs.

That looks cool.Used to love acid.Wonder if I can get the recipe.
I saw a trailer for a documentary which was about the handful of people in the world that know how to make acid. All ageing hippy scientist in America who refuse to pass on their secrets. Will try and find a link.

What's peoples thoughts on Shepherds Bush Empire as a venue and places for a beer around there. Got tickets for a gig in November and not a place i've been before. Generic O2 venue?

It's an OK venue for a gig but there is a lack of decent drinking establishments around there (or I couldn't find any). I prefer smaller venues and surprisingly to me it was where the Wogan chat show was filmed way back in the day.

Might just have to wander across there closer to the time rather than earlier that day and have a beer elsewhere. Cheers

The Defectors Weld on Uxbridge Road has a decent selection of Youngs beers. I reckon it would be rammed though before any decently attended gig.

Once bought the International Times from the Durham Bookshop because it had the instructions for making LSD.
Could understand the flaming symbols.

Oooo, I’d have to disagree. Seen them loads of times now & it was. Bit lacklustre. Saying that, the main stage felt a bit shit for most bands. The tent was much better.

Cast at Kubix in 21 was tremendous

I hadn't seen them since back in the day....I enjoyed their set.
I agree about the majority of the main stage mind you....the tent was superb.
I was front and centre for Geno Washington.....absolute bucket list stuff.
