I’ve only seen him once, around Heal Thyself but he did play some BNL

Mind, the sound very early on was dodgy as fuck. The first half of the first song. I was standing at the front at the side & noticed it sounded better when I was at the bar.

I noticed that and wondered if we were going to be in for a long night….they seemed to sort it pretty quickly.
Glad he threw a couple of beta band numbers in there.

Both Life & Michael Head said mid gig what a fantastic venue it is like. Everything about it is great. Sound, look, size. The fact they bang out Vaux beers is class too.

Don’t think I’m being biased here, but with the likes of Pop Recs, The Firestation, the Bunker, Beacon of Light etc there’s some fantastic community projects going on for the people of Sunderland at the minute. Luckily for us, a lot of it is music related too.

Ferocious Dog and The Levellers later on today at Northern Kin - Sweet last night and Phil Campbell and the Bastard sons were both excellent yesterday - Jethro Tull were turgid drivel.

Dark haired mate….she loves it there, perfect place to do a few hours graft and gain a few skills!
She can be part of the gig as well, it’s such an intimate venue. My sister used to work in the But hers Arms on a Sunday afternoon. Band on at 4 bells every week. Beats sitting at a desk.

The bar staff were top notch as well. Dead friendly and it's a cracking venue
