The Safety of Fans in the North Stand

Please provide this link to the clubs website. It doesn’t exist does it? The actual source is GG at the RAWA meetings, not the club website. And it was met was scepticism from those attending too.

The police have never ever tilted crime stats to their own benefit in anything ever in life. You are very naive.
The link I read was the minutes from the meeting which the club shared.
What benefit is it to the police for them to tilt stats in this instance

Here is a thought experiment

Supposing the away fans were allocated seats in the Premier Concourse above where club directors, journalists and guests sit.

And so far this season a bottle, assorted vapes and coins and two smoke bombs had been launched from above.

Do you think we would be listening to polite tannoy announcements asking away fans not to throw “pyrotechnics” and half-arsed ineffective searching of away fans entering the ground?

I suspect there might actually be a bit more urgency in ensuring it stops PDQ.
Spot on
I’ve already moved my family for next season mate. I’ve had the same seats for years but it’s not worth the aggro anymore

I saw the disabled fan leaving and it was heartbreaking.

Where the fuck is the club statement highlighting the bellend behaviour? It’s almost like they are embarrassed
I moved to the west stand this season from the north stand because of the stuff that gets thrown from the away end,few years ago a smoke bomb landed at our feet,it’s ridiculous

Another great day for our friend Mr Steve Davison, the engineering expert. Clown.
The only potential good thing to come from these incidents would be this clown losing his job. Has he oversaw anything good happening at the club since he's been given the job? Ticket office fiasco, club shop shambles, stadium is an utter clip now, the list could go on and on. The bloke is a fool.

I sent him a strongly worded email earlier like, I’ll probably regret it in morning like but fuck it, he’s proper boiled my piss last few months. Sunlun fan? Is he fuck.

Everyone keeps going on about how Chris Waters is a great guy and a credit to the club. Well surely this great guy should be more visible on this topic given his role is support liaison officer. The club is a shambles off the pitch. Utter shambles.

His hands are firmly tied by the clowns above him.

TBF to Chris he runs about putting fires out non stop, the lad carried the whole club on his back during the dark days under the southern mob. He's the last at the club who should come under any scrutiny.

The only way anything will be done is if people invade the pitch next time it happens. Parents should walk onto the pitch with their kids. Men and women need to join them. Don’t cause bother, wave arms about or anything daft, don’t do anything else but just stand there on the pitch and point at the away fans and say you’re under threat of being hurt. The ref will have to stop the game and they can’t and won’t arrest people for doing it if it’s done in numbers and it’s on the basis you fear for your safety.
Safety in numbers. If 100s do it it will end the issue almost instantly as the fall out for the club will be massive.
Are you Donald Trump?

Very wrong. The south stand near the SWC was all that was blocked. And it wasn’t for construction related reasons - it was due to some bollocks stat about reduced arrests since the move, which I maintain is false.

People keep saying the South Stand will work. It'll be much much worse there imo for different reasons.

Do you think our new angel support which we've gained over there lately are going to stand 10m away from the likes of Coventry and just sing along and hold hands.

It's asking for trouble all over the place. It'll be this 10x worse. Kids throwing bottles at each other then after the game - good luck when there's a massive brawl.

Twats will be twats wherever they are just keep them away from our twats or your asking for trouble which they are at the North side of the stadium.

Wherever the away fans were in the lower bowl and that's North or south would not be 10x worse in the slightest bit. People seem to completely miss the fact that someone could quite easily die from objects being thrown from such a height. This is the main and pretty much only reason the North stand fans want them in the lower. If people want to be dicks and have fisticuffs then let them. They're the ones that will be arrested and banned from the stadium. I'm sick of hearing the reasons why they can't be moved to the lower bowl as not a single one of them trump fans safety.

I've always stated the stadium was designed for them to be in the south and find it staggering the council have said no because of development. It's an utterly pathetic reason. That said , if they end up in the North lower I couldn't care less as long as they are not above home fans putting their health and lives at risk every single match as its happening far too often.
