Ben Kweller was plugging the debut album by a guy called Connor McLaren in Instagram earlier so I’ve got it on now and it’s pretty good. Fairly standard indie-rock/pop-rock fare but I’m enjoying it.
 
I'm still trying to catch up with the last couple of weeks of new music but, regardless, there are new albums this week from Baby Rose, Bebe Rexha, Braids, Country Westerns, Dave Hause, Gabriels, Great Lake Swimmers, Indigo de Souza, Jack Harlow, Jessie Ware, JFDR, Matt Maltese, Nabihah Iqbal, Neil Gaiman & Fourplay String Quartet, Single Mothers, Skinny Palembe, The National, Zoon, The Orb, Hawkwind, Tommy Emmanuel, The Bluebells, Rudy De Anda, Neev and Arborist.

Meh. The National will get a listen, but the singles have sounded like the National by numbers

The Lottery Winners album is released tomorrow although several tracks have been gradually released over the past couple of months. Absolutely not for me but Freya Rydings also has an album out.
